Downtown St. Charles
is built on a cemetary. Several of the graves were not moved. It is also the scene of several disasters including
disease, tornado's, and floods. Spirits seen here include a mysterious woman in a wedding gown, a couple who argue in
French, and two dogs that walk down the street with no legs. For the best information, check out Dr. Michael Henry's Downtown
St. Charles ghost tours.

The John Busch Brewery in Washington, MO., is without a doubt the most haunted building I've investigated in the
county. I was fortunate to do three investigations, one with a scientific paranormal team from St. Charles, one with
local psychics, and a third with a team of new investigators. I've investigated four or five times aside from those,
and have been touched, growled at, and have had Q and A with the spirits setting off the KII meter for yes, which was video
taped and is available on youtube. We know there is a child, a confederate soldier, a previous owner, and other spirits.
The Enoch's Knob Bridge has been written about in two of my books, and is
probably the most investigated bridge in the state. Video's of strange apparations have been taken here, photos of orbs,
red glowing eyes, and strange shadow creatures have also occurred. I can't begin to relate all the different things
that have happened here, but it is easily the most haunted outdoor spot I am aware of in the county. |
