Dan Terry is a career police officer, firearms instructor, veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, and an experienced ghost hunter and local author.  Dan began his paranormal adventures shortly after getting his drivers license in the late 1970's.  Inspired by the TV adventures of Kolchak, The Night Stalker, Dan started his investigations with research in the libraries and newspaper morgues, then went to the scene searching for spirit activity.

Joining the military, it became quickly apparent that any interest in the supernatural would have to be hidden to avoid the stigma.  Leaving the service, Dan found the same kind of attitudes in police work.  However, he continued reading and studying the paranormal.  With the advent of TV's Ghost Hunters, paranormal investigation has become accepted by the mainstream, and Dan began researching, investigating, and writing about his adventures.

Dan has worked with such experienced teams as Missouri Paranormal Research, now the Paranormal Task Force, the Mid American Paranormal Society (MAPS), and has worked with investigators such as Steven LaChance.  He has also been involved in several high-profile investigations which were made into video's and movies, including the Booth Brothers "The Haunted Boy" as seen on the Syfy channel, and "The Morse Mill Project".  He was a contributing author for the former Haunted Times magazine and has been on several radio shows.
